Community
Initiation - This program focuses
on essentials over one day, placing emphasis on safety,
fun, ethics, teamwork, and values beyond the game. Training
helps volunteers foster love of the sport, promote participation
and teach basic skills to beginners through a variety
of activities. Most suited for the teacher, community
leader, recreation department, parent & volunteer.

| Introduction
to Competition - The goals of this course
are to promote fun, fitness, fundamentals, and performance
among beginning and intermediate players who are either
youths or adults. This course replaces the Level 1 and
2 Technical courses of the old, knowledge-based program.
Coach's will come out of this course having a better understanding
of how to coach using the pull method as well as a better
understanding of skill break down. If you have any questions

Workshops
- On a regular basis Rugby Nova Scotia brings in guest
coaches to faciltate some workshops on a variety of
topics (i.e. - scrum, lineouts, attack, defense, ballhandling,

Club Training
- Rugby Nova Scotia's Director of Rugby is available to
come out to your club to cover an array of development
aspects such as club management, player development, club
development, coach education, and volunteer development.

| Part A & B (old theory
courses) - These are still being offered
and a must if you did not cover the material in Initiation
or Intro. As well you must take the Making Ethical Decsions
