Dalhousie Men and McGill go 1 - 1
This past weekend saw the Maritime Champion Dalhousie Tigers and QUAA Winner McGill Redmen play two well fought games at the Burnside field turf in the Eastern Canadian Men's University Championships.

The McGill Redmen lost the first "B" Division game to Dal 23 - 21. The score was 23 - 0 for Dalhousie at one point, but the never quit visitors came back, nearly stealing victory in the dying seconds of the game.

In the "A" Division, last year's Champion Dalhousie opened the scoring with a well worked try, but the Redmen answered time and time again forcing the game to come down to the wire. After a very late try by Dalhousie to put them up 17 - 12, McGill marched straight back and scored in the corner to tie the game. A well struck conversion kick put them over the top 19 - 17 and they held on until the final whistle,

A good sized crowd and lots of enthusiastic fans helped make the day a great success for all watching the games. Dalhousie Head Coach Matthew Gibbon and his teams made an impressive showing of Nova Scotian University Men's Rugby and are congratulated on their great successes this season!
